Teumna (the “Service”) helps you make plans in the free time you share with friends. This policy explains what we collect and why, who can see it, and when we delete it. One principle runs through it: we collect only what is needed to make plans, and you decide who sees what, and how much. The Service is run by an individual, Junho Woo.
1. What we collect
Account: your name (display name), handle and email address, as provided by Google or Apple sign-in.
Google Calendar (if you connect it): the time, title, location and notes of imported events, attendee names and emails as written in those events, and the link between those events and the ones Teumna adds to your calendar.
Things you create in the Service: friends and friend groups, personal events, availability, sharing settings, plans (participants, answers, time-change history, notes), plan outcomes (met, cancelled, no-show) and notification history.
Device: a push token used to send notifications, plus language and time zone.
People who reply through a link (guests without the app): only the name they enter. No sign-in or contact details. To recognize them on the same device, a random key is stored in the browser; the server keeps only a one-way transformed value of it.
Ads: to show ads, the ad SDK (Google AdMob) may process your device’s advertising identifier, approximate location (from IP address), device and app information, and ad interactions (section 5).
2. Why we use it
To find the free time you share with friends and to propose, confirm, change and cancel plans.
To sync events with Google Calendar (only if you turn it on).
To send notifications about plans, friend requests and time changes.
To show statistics, such as how often you met someone, to you only.
To run the Service, fix problems and prevent abuse.
To show ads (section 5).
3. Who can see what
People who are not your friends cannot see your events.
Friends see only what you choose: “busy” only, or the title as well. Events without a setting are private.
Private events are used only to calculate free time; their details are never shown to anyone.
Participants in a plan see that plan and the other participants’ names and answers only.
Someone who receives a plan by link can see that one plan only.
Teumna’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Calendar data is used only to calculate free time, show your schedule and run the sync you turn on.
We do not use calendar data for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.
No person reads your calendar data, except with your consent, for security or legal obligations, or as aggregated, de-identified data for internal operations.
When you disconnect Google, we delete the stored Google tokens. You can choose whether to remove the events Teumna added to your calendar (“[Teum]”).
5. Ads and tracking
To keep the app free, we show Google AdMob ads (banner and native) inside the app. Plan and invite pages opened from a link have no ads.
We never put your events, friends or plan details into ad requests.
Once, when you finish signing up and reach the home screen, we first show a short note about ads, then ask for consent through Google’s consent message (UMP, in regions such as the European Economic Area that require it) and the iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
You can refuse personalized ads in the consent screens, in the app’s “Review ad consent” setting, or in your device settings (iOS “Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking”, Android “Delete advertising ID”). You may still see non-personalized ads, and the app works the same.
6. Retention and deletion
When you delete your account (Settings › Delete account), we immediately remove your sign-in details, friendships, friend groups, push tokens and sessions, clear your name, mark your personal events as deleted and set all sharing back to private. Open plans you proposed are cancelled, and you leave open plans you joined.
The history of plans you shared with others stays, because it belongs to them as well. You appear there as a nameless “deleted user”.
When you disconnect Google or delete your account, we delete your Google tokens right away.
A plan’s status page for link guests stays available for up to 30 days after the plan ends.
To be confirmedConfirm and describe when personal events marked as deleted, notification history and guest names and answers are actually erased from the server (or the erasing job).
To be confirmedIf the law requires us to keep certain data (such as access logs), list it and the retention period.
7. Service providers and sharing
We do not sell your data. We share only what is needed with the following companies so they can run parts of the Service for us.
