How to delete your Teumna account and the information tied to it.
In the app (fastest)
Open Teumna and go to Settings › Delete account › “Delete account”.
If you connected Google Calendar, you are asked whether to also remove the “[Teum]” events Teumna added to Google, and then asked to confirm once more.
Once you confirm, the deletion happens right away.
If you cannot use the app
Email noggong@gmail.com with the subject “Teumna account deletion request”, and include the email of the account you signed up with (Google or Apple) and your Teumna handle (@handle).
We may ask follow-up questions to verify it is you.
To be confirmedDecide and state how quickly email requests are handled (for example within 7 days).
What is deleted
Sign-in details (Google and Apple links), sessions and push tokens
Your display name and handle (the handle becomes a random value and the name is cleared)
Friendships, friend groups and sharing settings (everything goes back to private)
Personal events (marked as deleted)
Stored Google tokens, so Google is disconnected. The “[Teum]” events Teumna added to Google Calendar are removed or kept as you chose in the app.
Open plans you proposed are cancelled, and you leave open plans you joined.
What stays
The history of plans shared with other people (it is their record too). Your place there shows as a nameless “deleted user”.
To be confirmedConfirm and state when personal events marked as deleted and notification history are actually erased from the server, and any legally required retention (if any) and its period.
Can it be undone?
A deleted account cannot be restored. If you sign up again with the same Google or Apple account, you start a new account.
